Mount Sneffels, CO 14,150'/4213m
I headed up Mount Sneffels in the San Juan Range on June 2, 2010. Lots of snow and some flurries on the upper part of the mountain. I climbed the NE Col on the North face of the peak, a route I have been eyeing for many years. Steep snow and ice made the route challenging. It was my 5th summit of Sneffels in my career, and I climbed it ultra-light and fast.
Statistics for the day:
Started 4am from the East Dallas Creek TH.
Summit at 8am.
On top for 1 hour, back to my truck by 11am.

Coming up the Dallas Creek drainage.
On the summit in the clouds!
Peering down the north col chute as I approached the summit.
Looking at the north face after a successful summit, weather was getting way better! Look at all that dirty snow!
A parting shot as I headed for Durango.....basketball camps start June 4th!
