Jon,
Congratulations on what I'm sure will be one of your greatest achievements in life. We followed your journey each and everyday with both excitement and worry. We have so much respect for the years of training you have put in to not only prepare you to summit the highest peak but to also enable you to help those around you. Our hearts go out to those fellow climbers who did not return and to those who were unable to reach their goal. We are relieved that you will soon be back on your home soil and back in the arms of your friends and family. I'm am certain that the families of those who have fallen will be very comforted to hear from you. Enjoy your amazing achievement and we look forward to hearing about your next great adventure. All the best to you and your research. Julie and Bruce - Ryan's Parents.

Jon, I've been following your climb and my daughters and I have been praying for your safe and swift climb. Incredible, but I always knew you were a really incredible guy and feel blessed to have been given the opportunity to have grown up with you a little back in the day. I've bragged about you at work and there has been a little team of us cheering you on here in Durango, Colorado. Great job!

I am amazed at your accomplishment and I am thankful for your safe return. Take a while to rest and Godspeed to you on your next adventure.
